 Sometimes I think I'm getting the hang of Oregon. And then I get mocked by strangers for carrying an umbrella (real Oregonians don't carry umbrellas because you have to be wet and miserable all the time to fit in), and try to go to the grocery store at 11:15 to buy beer only to discover that it's closed because of course it is, this is Portland and nothing is open past 9 pm if you're very lucky, but more likely closed up shop promptly at 6.

 I hates it. :C

The whole west coast can be pretty weird like that. Even Vancouver! Vancouver seems like it should be less old person-y but it's not. Rock on with your dry bad self. Frizzy damp hair is no joke.
