Rain and other inevitable things.
23 May 2013 03:43 amI spent most of this weekend down for the count with some sort of headache-thing. I'm loath to call it a migraine, because I don't get those, but it was a charming combination of head pain, nausea, and halo effects. And it rendered me completely useless and whiny for the better part of two days.
Then today was pretty much shot because while summer did make a brief appearance, it is still definitely spring in Portland: 40°F, rainy, and windy. And it makes me want to leap off a cliff, or at least to have been smart enough to own a car so I don't have to get all soggy and gross while attempting such feats as "go to the grocery store" or "get a goddamned haircut, you hippie." (Today I avoided this issue by doing neither task. So I stayed dry, but grocery-less and hairy. It's a questionable trade off.)
So, meh. This weekend definitely goes in the "complete waste of time" category. At least I got a lot of sleep?
