Random thoughts for the day:

• Mercury in Retrograde is a concept I just learned about today. Astrology in general holds very little water with me, but I feel compelled to blame every terrible thing that's ever happened on Mercury in Retrograde. Like the entirety of 2011.
• After attempting to put together a Christmas list, I think I've realized that the only thing I really want this year is an enduring sense of satisfaction with the state of my life. This whole "ennui" thing is getting really old.
• It is worth noting that the Fibonacci Sequence is currently devouring my life.
• My neck still hurts, but not as bad as it did a week ago.
