2013: Not the worst year ever.

 During my trip home last Christmas I spent a lot of time coming to terms with my current self in relation to my past selves. This year I spent coming to terms with my past selves in relation to my current self. It's cool to feel (at least temporarily) like a unified person across the past and present.
