Spring Quarter Update

Random whatevers:

• I stopped taking St. John's Wort for the time being because the sun came back. I'm realizing that my level of focus is much, much better without it, but the tradeoff is totally worth it to not feel like I'm going to fling myself off the nearest bridge during the winter. 
• I just finished my first programming assignment for the term a week ahead of schedule in a new language that I taught myself, and that feels really cool.
• I met some sweet CS class bros and we meet for study groups and email back and forth with each other to talk about homework and projects and that also feels really cool and also super helpful. Also, one of them is a girl and that is rad because tech lady solidarity.
• The orientation for my internship program is TONIGHT and I'm so excited/nervous I may just spend the entire session quietly vomiting on myself in the back row.
• Burfday is on Tuesday, yay! Parents are coming in to town next weekend so I have the excuse to take time off work, yay! (Also, I get to see my parents, which is always delightful, in a stressful sort of way.)

In short, things are chugging along in a very positive way and I am very grateful for that.
